The project arrives!!!!

So this is what all this messing about up 'til now has been in aid of.

In effect all the previous work has been merely a prologue for all that is come from this moment.

The fateful day arrived a little later than we had originally intended but it came eventually and late into the evening the lovely little thing arrived, very carefully delivered to us by John.

So Here we are then. It is a Opel Kadett C coupe rolling shell, and what a beauty she is. Very rusty, and multi coloured she isn't in very good shape at the minute but we believe she has potential. First of all will be an entire strip down, (made easier by the simple fact that many bits are missing, like most of the glass, bonnet interior trim engine etc.) After that we will get rid of all of the rust and do a thorough inspection of the structural parts to see if the shell is worth salvaging and then the fun will truly begin. Now where did we put the angle grinder and welder. Play time! Come on!!
